"The settlers cottage is like living in a museum tableau which is great fun. Having said that it has all the mod cons you want – TV, air conditioning, fridge and microwave etc. But frankly, who needs it, just bring a stack of books. a couple of bottles of wine, some bread and cheeses and move around from east to west from front veranda to back porch and enjoy your stay. Say hi to the friendly little lizards under the front steps and the bull in the back paddock."

You could walk to the grocery shop village and they had a nice place down the road for some dinner. You could bring your kids scooters or bikes and go for a walk around the marina too. "Excellent stopping place. Needed a Room after the Crowded House concert in Berry. Room was large and very clean.Excellent king size bed. Good size bathroom, Rainfall shower with stacks of hot water. Very quiet, despite being close to the highway. Wonderful full breakfast included, complementary drink voucher which could be used for a barista coffee. Very friendly staff. Really could not fault it, and we travel a lot. Sydney, London, Guildford, Cornwall and Montreal in the last month. If we need to stay in Nowra again, this will be the place."
