Rosenblum Cellars is a sophisticated wine club with a tasting room and a wonderful vista of San Francisco Bay. With a specialization in the zinfandel black-skinned grape, the estate has a great range of wine varieties as well as upscale food options. Sip some of the zinfandel and Rhone wines that are sourced from vineyards around California. The site is known as the King of Zin for its impressive zinfandel wines, many of which come from the grapes of Sonoma County and the Alexander Valley.
Purchase a glass or a bottle to share with your friends on the outdoor wicker couches, as you take in the stunning views of the bay. The vista from the wine estate’s patio is particularly scenic at sunset. Sample some of the tasty snacks available to complement the wine.
Speak with the winery’s sommeliers about the history of the site, which helped transform the traditional dockland area into a wine hub. Note that the facility has been running since 1978 and has won many awards over the decades.
Purchase a tasting or select some of your favorites from the bottles in the shop. The Tasting Room opens Tuesday through Sunday from late morning until evening.

At the southern edge of Oakland, Rosenblum Cellars faces the island of Alameda and a channel in San Francisco Bay. Arrive by ferry on the San Francisco Bay Ferry or travel by train or bus to the Jack London Square station, a few blocks southeast of the winery. Explore the surroundings for nearby sights such as Jefferson Square Park, Estuary Park and the Oakland Museum of California.
