Enjoying nature amongst the trees!

This is a lovely rough rainforest-type farm with lots of tropical fruits, a persimmon orchard, plus a fruit tree nursery. I was taken on a golf buggy tour of the property by the owner - I am handicapped & it was wet. It was lovely to get to see most of the farm! It rained for a lot of the 3 days I was there. Actually, I felt it was the best place to be in this wet, as I had a lovely verandah where I could sit out on, amongst the trees, with beautiful views of the nearby range, etc. When the rain eased off, I could get out & walk around a little, & sit almost in the tree tops, with a steep hill in front of me, down to a creek. Any abled-body persons would have lots of wonderful walking places. The owners are lovely, & breakie was delicious. I caught up on my reading, & crocheting. A lovely restful 3 days!

Poor access - almost impossible to get into when it's raining. Did not give us the 2 bedroom we booked and refused refund.

Rossmount is a delightful quiet spot and ideal for getting away from technology for a while. The owners are very friendly and shared travel stories from around the world. The property is quaint and comfortable.
