We had stayed at the hotel only a week earlier and had asked for the same or similar room for the the three of us (two adults and a child). The room we had then was excellent. However on this occasion despite paying a little more it was smaller, had the strangest lighting set up (if you turned on the bathroom lights you it meant a single ceiling light above our child bed came on..ideal when he needed to sleep).
When we arrived we had to ask 3 times for the sofa bed to be made up…it was eventually.
We were late arriving so decided out of necessity to eat at the hotels resultant. We ere told that they were very busy and would have to wait 45 mins…which we understood and appreciated.
However when we went to the restaurant it wasn’t busy as there were a number of empty tables. However what was more annoying was that a number of people turned up and were immediately seated whilst we were eventually seated at a table that hadn’t been completely cleaned from the previous dinners!
It was a disappointing stay at a beautiful hotel!
