“We stayed one night in the glass igloo during autumn, so the SnowHotel was still under construction and, according to one of the staff, set to reopen in a few weeks. Even so, the experience was lovely and memorable. The igloo was cozy and warm, though a bit tight for three people. At night, we didn’t get to see the northern lights or stars, but the view of the moon and quiet Arctic sky was peaceful in its own way. “We had the most amazing time at Shaman Village. The igloo was beautiful, spotless and had everything we needed. We were lucky to see the northern lights and it was the perfect end to our trip. The owners were very kind and helpful. Shaman village is a small family run place in the forest, rich in history. If you get a chance, book a tour with the owner, it was also a great experience. I would recommend to anyone and I hope we can come back one day. What a wonderful experience we had! ”

“Super Good overall. Did the Husky self drive, it was great with a great Husky farm: Matara Creek. Hotel was great overall, Spa, breakfast, services. I recommend to drive or to plan your activities with the hotel as this is 45 min from the city center. ”
