I have been to many accomodations establishments and La Quinta would have to be at the top of the list for value for the amenities on offer. Very clean, all the cooking facilities, dishwasher, 7kg washing machine, clothes dryer, large screen television and a proper two door refrigerator. We booked through Expedia so we were entitled to a free drink and snack. Staff are very friendly and helpful and are willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. The property is in close proximity to the airport and rental car companies which was another great feature.

We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay.

We booked 1 bedroom apartment with mountain view with Abba, it was a clean apartment, the location is walking distance to the town, kitchen had most of the utensils needed for cooking, and had free car parking available. It was a good value for money.

Maybe have chopping board in the kitchen Room should be vacuumed at least once or twice if customer is staying for more than two days.

After staying in multiple properties across the South Island of New Zealand, including multiple hotel stays in Queenstown, this place is most definitely not a 5-star worthy hotel, 3 stars at best. The staff was extremely accommodating, polite, and we were always met with a smile on the face. With that being said, the place is an essentially a refurbished ‘boutique’ apartment (literally, though). The jacuzzi tub (at least in the Master Suite I was in) was lukewarm on arrival, smelled very stagnant, and there were particles floating around (mind you, I messaged the staff my planned ETA and would assume at $800+ USD/nt, at least the jacuzzi would be working…nonetheless). Notified staff, and let them know the fountain function did not work and the jet feature was working at maybe 20% and ONE SIDED only…was told this is “normal” of “all the jacuzzis”…so, don’t let the pictures fool you! It was a good stay, but not worth the money. I’d recommend the QT Hotel (similar price range, or cheaper), or the Rosewood (where true 5-star luxury is DEFINED).
