Es liegt etwas erhöht und ruhig, inmitten von Olivenbäumen, und bietet einen tollen Ausblick. Zu Fuss ist man aber schnell im Dorfzentrum und auch die Veloroute Via Ardèche ist rasch erreicht. Ruoms hat sich überhaupt als guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung erwiesen. Die Begrüßung war sehr nett. Wir haben alles erklärt bekommen und konnten den Pool auch noch durch das tolle Wetter im Oktober nutzen. Die Unterkunft war tadellos sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer sehr viel Wert auf Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit legt, muss sich aber ggf. um eine andere Unterkunft bemühen. Der Durchgangsverkehr von Ruoms ist wahrnehmbar auf der Terrasse und am Pool und aktuell (10/2023) waren auch zwei Baustellen aktiv am Häuserbau in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Uns hat es nicht gestört, da wir nahezu den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Es gibt einfach zu viel zu entdecken in der Gegend. Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Umgebung mit tollem Blick von der Terrasse. Den Pool an heißen Tagen zu nutzen ist Gold wert. Direkt vom Ferienhaus aus haben wir schöne Wanderungen und auch eine Fahrradtour gestartet. Auch mit dem Motorrad konnten wir klasse Touren fahren. Der Vermieter ist herzlich und freundlich. Die Führung zur Olivenölherstellung war sehr informativ. Nous avons passé un séjour d’exception dans ce gîte. Nous avons fait la connaissance d’Arnaud qui est une personne d’une gentillesse et d’une sympathie rare. A l’écoute, réactif, de très bons conseils nous permettant d’apprécier au mieux notre séjour dans ce sublime gîte. C’est simple, nous n’avons rien à redire sur celui-ci. Proche d’absolument tout (centre ville à 3mn à pied, supermarché à 3mn en voiture), commerces proposant des produits locaux de grande qualité qui raviront vos papilles à n’en pas douter. Le gîte est d’une propreté clinique, décoré avec modernité et vous permettant de vous sentir comme chez vous immédiatement. Les terrasses et la piscine (absolument géniale par ailleurs), vous permettront de vous détendre totalement entourés d’un paysage peuplé d’oliviers qui vous isoleront dans une véritable « bulle » de bien-être. Vous l’aurez compris, vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés, en tout cas de notre côté ce fut un véritable coup de cœur tant sur le gîte que sur le côté humain. N’ayez aucune crainte vous serez à l’écoute pour quelque question que ce soit avec un propriétaire aussi bienveillant que discret vous laissant profiter de votre séjour dans ce gîte sublime. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Schnell offenbart es allerdings gravierende Mängel. Es befindet sich lediglich im Schlafzimmer eine fest installierte Klimaanlage, die allerdings während unseres Aufenthalts ausgefallen war. Ein Blitz hatte in sie eingeschlagen - das steigert nicht gerade das Sicherheitsgefühl. Die kleine mobile Klimaanlage machte einen Höllenlärm und war viel zu ineffektiv. Noch schlimmer und eigentlich unvorstellbar: Sämtliche grössere Fenster im Haus können nicht geöffnet werden. Das große Fenster im Schlafzimmer hat darüber hinaus keinen Rolladen. Auch in der Nacht kann nicht gelüftet werden. Über lange Phasen des Tages und in der Nacht wurden auch im Gebäude über 30 Grad erreicht. Bei hohen Temperaturen ist das Haus nicht bewohnbar. Nach drei Tagen reisten wir ab. Der Besitzer war nicht bereit eine Entschädigung zu gewähren.
