“We went back and forth about booking due to the reviews and I’m so glad we just went ahead and booked. It’s definitely a good old northern cabin on the lake, outdated, and some spider webs. But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again.”

“All in all the stay was quite pleasant. We were working a tattoo convention at the grand Casino in Hinckley and this offered a remote spot to rest for the weekend. I would say the property could be maintained a bit better as grass was grown up almost everywhere including door ways into the rec room. The rec room room itself is a hit or miss on ”

“Very easy to check in and out. Communication was great. Having the water toys on site was awesome - saved us from having to bring our own. Nice clean little lake. Loved the golf course being so close. Neighbors were a little closer than we expected based on pictures, but everyone was nice. Cabin size was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. Beds were comfortable and cabin was stocked well. I would imagine this cabin would be lovely during the winter months also. We enjoyed a very relaxing……

“We used the Octagon for a retreat weekend and it was perfect for that. It was a beautiful property all around! Staff we interacted with were kind and helpful!”

We ran into bad weather on our way up there and communicated that to them and they arranged a way for us to get the key. Will be back!! Def for a longer stay!”

“Our family ( 7 adults, 4 children under 4) spent 4 days at the cabin, most of the day in the lake swimming, kayaking and fishing. We had a great time! The littles enjoyed playing in the lake. A lot of time was spent on the swing and enjoying the fire ring.”

Lovely amenities including a welcome note, comfy outdoor seating, coffee and toiletries for the shower. Many extra amenities not often included in a VRBO.Comfortable couches, plenty of seating for a group and really comfortable beds with blackout curtains for ease of sleeping in. “Stayed here for a girls weekend. The outside is a little deceiving, as it looks small and the plants were a little overgrown etc. however, the inside is a great space. Nice area in the kitchen/living room with a comfy couch. beds overall were relatively comfortable as well, though as a side note, the bunk beds aren't in their own true bedroom, it is the common area when you come downstairs.The hot tub/game room was a nice space to hang in and play games as well. Overall we had a really nice……
