"The grounds were exquisite and the pool area was a paradise. Overlooking an olive grove, with beautiful day beds. This is a place for folks who want to relax quietly and read. The dinner was so-so. I recommend exploring the area for dinner. A car is needed!"

"Had a brilliant stay here! I came on a solo trip to relax and I felt like it was the perfect place for this.
The hotel and rooms felt fresh, all newly refurbished.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was placed in a room by the ‘quiet pool’ which was perfect for what I needed.
The buffet breakfast was fab, so much choice! It does get busy, so the earlier to go the better.
The only thing to point out is that the pillows on the bed were very hard. I did also order an iced latte by the pool one morning, which was more a weak, cold milky coffee with ice which cost €5.40.
Apart from that, I had a great stay! "

"There’s not enough good things to say about this charming Chalet in Portocolom. If you’re lucky enough to stay here you will not be disappointed. The property is absolutely stunning and the amenities are unreal. We spent all of our time in the outdoor cook house and by the pool. The town is absolutely charming as well. With the local coffee shop and market 1 block away we made friends quickly as one of the daily staples. Also Bella Mia Gelato nightly is a MUST! Portocolom was a perfect town for us to have as a home base and to visit other areas but then come home to a slower more peaceful pace. We couldn’t have had a better, easier, or friendlier welcome with Tony. Thanks again! "
