“Even the rain couldn’t put a damper on a good time. The house is in a great location with a perfect view. We really enjoyed the pier and doing a little fishing. Very relaxing, very serene. The owner was very respondent to questions, nice and polite. Very accommodating. Make sure you take advantage of the provided kayaks and fishing equipment if you don’t have your own! “I was trying to find a hotel that would have enough room for four adults and then I stumbled across this really beautiful AND AFFORDABLE cabin rental on VRBO. What a find! The cabins were gorgeous and we had enough room for everyone. Being in the woods offered a scenic experience for all. I loved listening to the birds early in the morning and seeing fireflies at night. We were also really close to a lot of things that families could do together like putt putt. We preferred a more private and convient cottage rather than staying in the group lodge at the park as we were celebrating our recent engagement and my retirement from teaching school, We enjoyed a nice four day weekend and this property was absolutely perfect while still being close to the park! “Our stay was so peaceful and none of us really wanted to leave. The outside shower was so fun and different. The water got very hot and was relaxing after a long day of fishing! We caught brim, bass, and catfish. They weren’t cooking size but still fun to reel in. We also rode in the kayaks and that was a lot of fun! The cabin felt very homey and the beds were extremely comfortable! The WiFi was nice to have to watch a movie at night but overall we stayed off the phones. 10/10 an amazing trip. ”
