The skirting boards were devoid of paint. The furniture was old and tired apart from the bed which was as comfortable as usual. “L'hôtel ne mérite pas 4 étoiles, trop cher. Les prises ne sont pas adaptées à tous les chargeurs. La machine à café ne fonctionne pas sans faire disjoncter le courant. Pas de baignoire. “We like the secure night time parking. We were met by a very nice, helpful gentleman in Reception who was also on breakfast service the next day. Breakfast was good including the scrambled eggs. Good selection of seeds to choose from too. We thought the bacon could have been a better quality as it didn’t look wonderful and some tomatoes and mushrooms would have been welcome which we have had in other B&B Hotels. The owner, Tina, was very attentive, friendly and helpful - from local sightseeing recommendations to a lovely breakfast with locally sourced items.
