Soft items like the living room couch and chair and the mattresses could use a refresh. The cottage has a nice kitchen, a new grill and a washer dryer for convenience. It’s a quiet spot with only houses on this beach. It is a rocky beach so bring your beach shoes, but waking to beautiful sunrises every day is amazing. It was the perfect prescription for a lingering case of covid blues. This is where you go to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Sitting on the deck watching the birds and occasionally a small whale basking in the bay. We collected seashells and seaglass at low tide on the beach and looked up at the sky full of stars at night. It was perfect waking up and having coffee on the deck every morning. There's also plenty to do in the area should the weather not cooperate. The home itself is very clean, slightly rustic, but in a good way. Nostalgic.
