Jemseg Motel is definitely hidden away off the highway. There is a convenience store/ restaurant within about 5 minute drive, otherwise no other options for shopping or eating. The hotel is very dated but what stood out the most was there were no top sheets on the bed. I don't believe the comforter is washed after each patrons stay making sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Considering the nightly rate, overall not bad but I would, in future, stop earlier of move on down the highway.

The staff were very helpful and friendly!

Our room was clean, but dated. We did have a issue for the duration of our stay with a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway that was making it's way into the room. The staff said that they would make a note of it, but besides that, did not seem to care. No apologizes or a reduction of the bill.

Beds comfortable room was nice

Stayed June 27 to July 9th, 2026. Staff in the hotel and restaurant are amazing, polite, professional and helpful when approached. 5 stars in this area. Room service was ok, but not great, Completely understand rooms are done every other day for the environment and was on board with it. However, when room service did come in, it was always half fast jobs in the rooms. Only vacuumed once for my whole stay. Bathroom toilet was dirty when I arrived and took almost a full week before it was actually cleaned. 2 stars in this area. Pool and hot tub. Pool water was dirty. Pool was sinking into the ground at the stairs to enter creating a slip and fall hazard. No rules enforced with the swimming area as a group was drinking alcohol and swimming in tight underwear/boxers showing off everything while kids were in the pool. Needless to say, I pulled my kids out of the pool and left, otherwise heads would have been cracked open from the ignorance of the group. All on camera too and nothing done about it. Hotube was broken and wouldn't stay on for more than 30 seconds even though it was suppose to run for 15 minutes. Hot tub was filthy with dirt in it and was much hotter than it should have been. 0 stars here. Restaurant on site. Staff were amazing, food was excellent and reasonably priced. 5 stars here. Not sure I will return to this hotel based on the pool, hot tub and room service.
