"We booked in July looking for a property near the centre of Honfleur with free parking nearby. I would happily have paid the full amount up front but there seemed to be no way to do so and we were advised that the full payment had to be made by 4 August. On the morning of 4 August I had still not heard from anyone and had to contact the host directly to find out how to.
