Paris, the national capital, is located 80 miles (129 kilometers) northeast of Saint-Jean-Froidmentel.
It's a missed chance if you limit your tour to the attractions of Saint-Jean-Froidmentel because the surrounding region has been blessed with a treasure-trove of terrific cultural and natural attractions. If you're keen to explore more of the region, you'll find Savigny-sur-Braye, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the east, and Saint-Amand-Longpre 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northeast.
Orleans, is another good spot to explore. It is about 30 miles (48 kilometers) from Saint-Jean-Froidmentel and offers a number of interesting things to see and do, for example Place du Martroi, Sainte-Croix Cathedral and St. Pierre-le-Puellier. Place de la Loire and House of Joan of Arc a few of the other visitor attractions worth visiting for those who find themselves with time to spare.
