Very good breakfast with friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. The spa was lovely and a great place to relax, and the food was brilliant throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, although it did take a little while to arrive. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a lovely kids’ room and outdoor space that our little one really enjoyed. It’s also amazing for dogs, which made travelling with our pet so easy and enjoyable. We stayed in the 4-bedroom Grand Cottage, which was fantastic. Having private parking and easy access to all the facilities made everything very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful old property but faded grandeur meant it needs a bit of TLC. Our room and bathroom including sheets and towels were very clean but the carpet was stained the radiator was caked in debris and the cupboard needed a clean. The bathroom looked recently updated and was nice. Amazing views from the rear of the hotel. Good parking and convenient for Bradford on Avon and a short journey to Longlete.

Clean hotel, great location . Lift was out of order on the date of stay which was disappointing with two kids on the third floor .

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special. The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with a lovely living room/common area and an inviting outdoor patio. The décor is stunning, and it’s clear the hosts haven’t skimped on a single detail. Mum Liz Dad Bob and Olivia as well as (Eliza/Harry who had their first child Mathilda, this week) was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions on where to visit nearby and how to get there. Note: When we arrived, we discovered we had accidentally booked our 5 night stay for the following year, 2027. Harry couldn’t have been more helpful and immediately found a way to accommodate us. We would highly recommend Lorne House and look forward to returning!
