"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."

A fairly well-stocked sweet breakfast, not exceptional; for those who like savory, there wasn't much choice. Restaurants nearby. Crossing the road you find the famous beach of Flic en flac. The only flaw is that if you arrive on the weekend the locals flock to the beach all day, from the sunset until late they listen to very loud music from their cars😬. I’m not sure why I was able to book the rooms when they had not been cleaned and wouldn’t be ready for at least 2 hours. They offered a communal shower room but still not good enough. "The whole stay was fantastic. The only down thing was the restaurant choice was very limited. Only one restaurant (Italian) open at lunch time and 2 options at night time, one of them being the italian restaurant again. There was a 3rd restaurant near the pool but closed for reburbishing. This information was not available when we booked the Hotel. The food in the available restaurants was really nice, but we were missing a bit of variety after a few days. Do not forget to bring your jellyshoes/water/diving shoes for the beaches"

Dheeraj and the team really looked after us, even making a personalised drink in a fresh coconut!! It was small gestures like this that made us feel so welcomed. They organised day trips and cabs for us, offered turn down services every night and we even got to have a full body massage in their beautiful spa with 20% off. We had a magical time and can’t thank everyone enough."
