"A True Gem in Sainte-Maxime I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Le Chardon Bleu this August, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. Just a short walk to the beach, the marina, and all the shops and restaurants—yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful retreat. "The hotel closed the pool for chlorine during the day - on a day when the red flags were up at the beach which means no swimming. Really poor planning. You can chlorinate the pool any time, to do it in the middle of the day is dumb. We only stayed for 3 nights so it was disappointing. "

"The property is well very well kept. The staff is very courteous. The location is fantastic. Right in the middle of Saint Maxime town center surrounded by restaurantes and shops and right in front of the pier from where you can take the boat to St Tropez. "

"We stayed at Le Petit Prince Hotel in Sainte-Maxime while attending the Longines show jumping in St. Tropez. It was the perfect base, a great location and just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach. The hotel has such a lovely warm family vibe. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. My partner ended up with a nasty tooth infection during our stay and the staff were absolutely amazing. They helped us find and get to an out-of-hours medical service, which we were so grateful for. Good parking on site too, which is a must in this area, especially as we had a hire car. We had a top floor room with a private balcony and access to a shared sub terrace, ideal for a bit of extra space and sunshine. Only minor complaint, there was never any bacon left at breakfast even when we got up early. It clearly goes fast. Other than that we would absolutely stay again. It was clean, comfy and in a brilliant location with genuinely kind staff"
