Friendly staff and good location. No kettle in the room but there was a coffee machine. No milk provided, no bottled water. The electrical socket was loose on the wall and I turned off the side lamp as it looked unsafe.

I always stay at the Opus when visiting Vancouver. Best location, friendly and accommodating staff. Great food. Fantastic room service, and very comfortable and enjoyable rooms.

Came with a 3 year old specifically to use pool that turns out was closed for days, no notice no update, while trying to cancel reservation a day ahead wouldn’t let us do so, yet when we raised this issue at the time of check in they offered cancellation so I really don’t get it. Managment did try to accommodate but end of the day no pool so we had to spend the whole day in a room
