Literally a 7 mile or twelve minute drive to the Chena Lake Recreation Area from the property. On our first and third nights, we lucked out seeing the lights. The second night was too cloudy. I can't recommend this property enough. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I recommend the North Pole Crepery as well.”

“Amazing! If I would create a cozy cabin, this would be it. I travel with my own twinkle lights to create the right soothing ambiance, but I didn’t need them here. Quiet, sparking clean, and efficient use of kitchen space. It also boasted the best water pressure of all the places we stayed in our 18 day trip.I met Raven’s staff (mom and maintenance man) upon departure and they sing her praises. This speaks volumes. Would absolutely stay here again and next time spend a week!! It’s convenient both……

“We stayed in the house for 4 days and able to see aurora (northern lights) from the porch of the house! Actually we were able to see it from inside the house even without having to wear coats and pants. It’s great location if you want to see aurora without traveling far during the midnight. I have 7year old son, and he wanted to sleep just before the aurora appears. So it was great convenience that we were able to see from the house.
