Very beautiful house with character in a quiet pool in lush greenery

In a typical setting of the Provençal countryside, close to the village of Salernes, large charming house aspiring to calm, among olive trees, fruit trees and long cypresses of Florence. Terrace garden in oleanders and lavenders, beautiful exposure, view on the hill without any vis-à-vis, pleasant "corners" to rest along the pool or near the fountain.
The house offers all the comforts.
Large living room with fireplace, leather sofas and armchairs, dining area that can accommodate 8 people.
Authentic cuisine with all facilities, La Cornue stove and a small annex kitchen.
Covered terrace for lunch and a large table on the terrace under the mulberry trees for dinner in the evening.
Upstairs, a small reading room. Dedicated to three great artists, 3 rooms colored with paintings: "The Kasimir Malevitch room", "Blinky Palermo Zimmer", "Elis Room" and a large shower room with panoramic views.
The 4th bedroom and its bathroom are on the ground floor for more independence.
The property is secure, electric gate, private parking in a large paved interior courtyard.

Salernes has all the amenities: shops, leisure and culture. Cinema, Terra Rossa Museum, Sunday and Wednesday morning markets, swimming in the Muie and hiking in the hills.
Salernes is surrounded by magnificent villages. Tour the village in the sky, Entrecasteaux and the Lenôtre garden, Aups the land of black truffles, Villecroze and the caves. Cotignac and its troglodyte cliffs.
Salernes is a few minutes from superb places: the Abbey of Thoronet, the Gorges du Verdon and the lake of Sainte Croix, the beaches of the Mediterranean. And 30 minutes from the Barbaroux golf course. st endreol terre blanche

Serenité dans le haut Var

Nichée au cœur du magnifique Haut-Var, cette maison avec piscine est une véritable perle de sérénité. C’est un cadre idyllique pour des vacances en famille (nous etions 6). La maison allie charme provençal et confort moderne. Maison très spacieuse dans joli domaine

Séjour de 3 nuits très agréable dans maison spacieuse. Idéale pour 2 familles de 4 personnes. Nous avons principalement profité de l’extérieur et de la piscine! Propriétaires arrangeants qui nous ont permis de déposer nos valises plus tôt. Des petits rafraîchissements seraient à prévoir: portes de placards, table de Ping Pong, finalisation des travaux extérieurs.

Amazing stay

Joyeux Noel en Famille

Nous avons passé Noel dans cette maison très agréable et bien équipée durant 4 jours. Nous nous y sommes bien sentis. Merci à Bernadette pour son accueil et son hospitalité ainsi que pour ses délicates attentions. La maison est très bien située, au calme et proche de toutes les commodités et petits villages a visiter tels que Tourtour, Villecroze, Salernes et une jolie balade à la cascade de Sillans. Je recommande cette maison.

Volledig tot rust gekomen!

Na héél wat zoekwerk uiteindelijk voor deze locatie gekozen. De afspraken met de eigenaars gingen vlot. Eénmaal aangekomen konden we de prachtige locatie bewonderen en voelden we ons onmiddelijk welkom door het lekkere welkomsgeschenk. Het is een zeer mooi gerieflijk, groot huis met goed afgebakende tuin, hetgeen wel moest wanneer je een familie bent met 3 honden. Het domein heeft verschillende leuke plekjes om zowel in de zon als in de schaduw te chillen en helemaal zen te worden. Het prachtige zwembad ligt heel centraal en ook daar werden vele zalige momenten doorgebracht. Zowel het vakantiehuis als de eigenaars hebben ons absoluut kunnen bekoren. Wij komen zeker terug!

Jolie propriété à Salernes

Nous nous souviendrons longtemps de notre séjour dans cette jolie provence Verte à 2 pas des gorges du Verdon, de pittoresques villages préservés . D’autant plus que la maison qui nous a accueillis a fait l’unanimité de notre grande famille de 8 personnes Située dans un grand terrain très bien agencé, elle était arrangée avec beaucoup de goût Merci Michel ;)et nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à la quitter .. Sans compter sa femme Bernadette très à l’écoute, adorable que nous avons bcp appréciée Nous vous recommandons absolument cet endroit !!

Vacances au calme dans une belle région

La maison est spacieuse et lumineuse avec une cuisine très bien équipée. Les lits sont confortables. Le seul petit bémol ce sont les toilettes un peu éloignées des chambres. L’espace extérieur est bien soigné et la piscine magnifique!

Perfect family getaway!

We loved it! Coming from Canada I was worried but it was all fantastic! The pool and gardens were perfect! Lots of room in the house. We spent most of the time outside but we did use the oven and stove regularly. We would love to come back again. Hosts were very friendly, we called on her more than once for a few small things, like needles for slivers. Felt very safe, close to Salerne for groceries. Thank you Michelle and Bernadette!

An underrated house

This is a delightful property with heaps of character. 4 good sized double rooms, 2 bathrooms and two toilets. It has a large loving space which you just can’t see from the pictures. Plenty of art and fun things dotted around too. The pool is a great size and we spent quite a lot of time here. It could do with an outside shower area though to wash off quickly. We had a very relaxing stay for a week. A couple of comments though is that the directions to the actual property are almost non existent and we needed the owner to come and guide us there. Facilities were great. The over is a little tricky but once figured out worked well. The large fridge freezer with ice maker was very welcome in the 32c heat! The local vial age has some great bakeries and a super market very close by (by car). There are also loads of vineyards not far away as well as other villages to visit if you wish but we mostly just chilled out with the kids. The owners were super responsive to questions, which helped make the stay smooth. Thank you!

Idyllique!

Magnifique séjour à la propriété, superbe grande maison, très calme, jardin splendide, très belle piscine, plein d'espaces de repos, le paradis! Un grand merci à Bernadette et Michel, tellement accueillants (on vous embrasse tous)! Beaucoup d'activités aux alentours pour petits et grands (kayak, randonnée, pédalos au lac de Ste croix, escalade, clubs équestres, belle cycloroute régionale à deux tours de roues, etc.....). Région époustouflante entre mer, lacs, champs de lavande et montagne. Quelles belles vacances! Corine, Pascale, Jean-Philippe, Paul, Vincent, Lucas, Bianca et Côme!

A Perfect Holiday

In a beautiful house which was so obviously built with tremendous thought and care, and with a pool to match, you have everything you need for a perfect family holiday. Ideally situated to visit glorious Provencal villages or further afield to Nice or Cannes, and then return again to peace and privacy. The house is located about a five-minute drive from Salernes, and as is usual in the area there’s a short stretch of track leading up to it. Once the gates on the property close it’s very secluded and private, and the range of different spaces available to guests, both indoors and out, is exceptional. The ten-metre pool is perfect for both lounging in and swimming lengths, and the terraced garden is delightful. Surrounded by trees, it’s great to lie by the pool in the evening and watch birds overhead with a glass of wine in hand. For stargazers the night sky is very dark and the seeing is excellent. We hope to visit again and thoroughly recommend this magical haven!

Traumhaftes Objekt mit allen Annehmlichkeiten in ruhiger Lage

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich durch Bernadette in Empfang genommen und uns wurde alles gezeigt. Die liebevolle Einrichtung und der Stil haben uns wirklich überzeugt. Es war alles vorhanden: Internet, 3 Bäder, ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer, Daunendecken (für die Frostbeulen) und viele liebevolle Details. Der Garten und der Pool waren in einem tollen Zustand und es sah bei unsere Ankunft aus, als wenn erst kurz vorher alles vorbereitet wurde und man nur auf uns wartet. Bernadette und Ihr Mann haben sich dort ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Die Kommunikation erfolgt ausschließlich auf Französisch. Salernes ist ein kleines romantisches Nest mit einem, von Platanen gesäumten Marktplatz, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Es gibt einen tollen Bioladen, gute Restaurants und kleine Töpferläden und einen Intermarche alles in einem Radius von 3 km zur Unterkunft. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit, es hat uns allen sehr gefallen. Eine klare Empfehlung —— Francais—— En arrivant, Bernadette nous a montré toute la maison. L'établissement était super jolie. Il y avait tous qu'on a besoin dans la maison. Le jardin et la piscine étaient dans un très bon état. Bernadette et son marie ont un petit paradis la. Merci pour les bonnes vacances. Nous recommende le domicile.

Das Haus ist innen soweit ok, hat französischen Charme ist sehr reichhaltig ausgestattet (Geschirr, Küchenutensilien) und entspricht soweit dem Inserat. Die Bilder des Grundstücks allerdings erwecken den Eindruck eines insgesamt gepflegten Anwesens, was schlicht falsch ist. In der Zufahrt sowie auf dem gesamten Grundstück verteilt stehen diverse offenbar seit langer Zeit nicht genutzte Materialien eines Bauunternehmens, alte Fenster, Ziegel, Latten etc. Auf dem Grundstück existieren Nebengebäude, in verwahrlostem Zustand (gebrauchtes Geschirr, alte Klamotten liegen herum...). Ansonsten am Haus der Rasen seit Wochen nicht mehr gemäht, Unkraut allerorten, Terrasse nicht einmal gekehrt viele Blumenkübel mit vertrockneten Pflanzen, zum Pool gehörige Becken leer und ungepflegt und und... Insgesamt nicht dem entsprechend, was durch die Bilder suggeriert wurde (gerne auch einige Photos, in diesem Formular leider nicht vorgesehen), und damit zu teuer - eine Rückerstattung eines Teilbetrags wäre fair und eigentlich angebracht.
