Another great stay. Quite a few choices at breakfast and again a very comfortable room. Wifi is good at lobby level but I don’t know if you could work up in the room. I abandoned updating my blog because of upload issues.
The lobby and service are five star and the restaurant is fantastic. The rooms and hallways are 3 Star, and need some soundproofing and updates. For the price, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The elevator sound/music is obnoxious and needs to be switched off and one elevator needs not to get stuck.
i’ve been to about 100 hotels in the last 6 months. I think this is maybe the third review I’ve written.
This is an oasis of luxury in what is a modest city.
Valet, good food, great lobby, and restaurant. Pool. Spa. Full gym. Full gym not like a hotel gym.
I actually feel grateful to have stayed here. It’s well worth anything. I paid here. There’s nothing like it in Salta. THANK YOU
We liked this hotel, probably the best in Salta. Big rooms, comfy beds. Shower could be better. Breakfast was small, and not in proportion to a 5 stars hotel. They charged extra for a capuchino, which was weird to say the least.
The staff at the front desk and the porters were very nice and polite. I would highly recommend the hotel, partly because of the convient location, but mostly because of the excellent staff.
Really good hotel, would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Salta. Salta is in a bit of time wrap, stepping into the Alejandro is like coming back to 2025.
Restaurant food and drink excellent.
Again highly recommend.

Alejandro I in Salta is an exceptional high-end hotel that truly elevates the stay experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, professional, warm, and attentive without being overbearing. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a luxury property. Its location is another major highlight: perfectly situated close to all the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. A special shout-out to Benjamin, who took wonderful care of us throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks to the outstanding service, prime location, and refined atmosphere, And have at least one meal at their restaurant, everything is delicious! Alejandro I is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Salta.
Modern hotel in Salta’s city center. Friendly staff, quality and varied breakfast, clean premises, and northern Argentinean themed deco. Walking distance to key attractions. Definitely recommendable!
We had a lovely time staying in Salta and exploring the city and going on the day trip to the Salta Grande. The hotel felt luxurious in a very close walk to the main square and was a great price! The gym was FABULOUS and had lots of equipment for cardio and weight. We saw locals who had gym memberships there as well. The breakfast buffet was also nice and we also had dinner at the restaurant and it was quite tasty. Some people on our tour came back to eat there a second time! Overall 10/10 experience.
Lovely hotel on expensive side. Staff excellent. Room had safe a large bathroom shower and bath plus hairdryer no kettles in room but u can ask carafe hot water in bar. Also a fridge and good air-conditioning Large TV good WiFi large window plenty plugs. Large bed and good linen pillows not the best mattress on hard side. Breakfast exceptional mostly scrambled egg and sausages in hot side good pastries and fruit selection exceptional food at competitive prices exceptional service all way through thanks Alejandro's the Chef and the the lady at thebar. Close proximity to centre 5 minutes walk. Some English spoken in the hotel and roundabout highly recommend the hotel and Salta thanks to all

The hotel is very old and has a very strong smell (like other old hotels). The room was big, the bed was hard… not sure if they had bed bugs, but my husband had such a sign (of a bite). The staff was very friendly, but the reception used a very bad exchange rate (and not the official one from the day of check in)… so overall, not the best experience
