Our stay was incredible. The condo is amazing with incredible views of the ocean. The condo is located near shopping, restaurants, and of course the ocean. Looking forward to our next stay at this property.

Fabulous View, Comfortable Stay

This was a lovely unit; very clean, stocked, and had everything we needed. John anticipated and responded to our needs in record time. Would definitely like to stay here again!

Great stay

John was the hostess with the mostest! So communicative and helpful. Unit was nice, in a very old building, but unit itself was clean and comfortable. Location insanely awesome with sound and views of waves, proximity to bars and restaurants and in thick in everything.

Wonderful property

The views of Pacific Beach and Crystal Pier are beautiful and the location is ideal for this property - right by an ice cream and hot chocolate shop, good restaurants, groceries, and pharmacy. John was communicative and helpful. The property was very clean. We enjoyed the beach toys and direct beach access as well as sunset, ocean, and people watching.

Family beach vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo! It is right on the beach and you can watch the waves all day. The area has a lot of fun restaurants and shops. The condo has everything you need! Can’t wait to come back!

Great Location!

The location has great views of beach from living area and the master bedroom. Convenient parking in garage. The unit is walking distance to restaurants, convenience and grocery stores.

Nice condo in a prime location

Unit was nice and in a prime location. Easy to walk to restaurants and grocery store. Be aware that many people hang out in front of condo so can be noisy at night.

Gorgeous Views

A perfect location, gorgeous views, and beautiful condo. Very clean and warm. My friends, husband and I had a fabulous time hanging out. Walks on the beach, close to restaurants and shops. A quieter part of PB but still full of life. John is a great owner/host and is very communicative. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Best view on Pacific Beach!

Amazing corner unit gives you a panoramic view of the coast with stunning sunsets! This condo was well stocked, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We appreciated the closet full of boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. John was helpful and checked in to make sure everything was going great. We would happily stay here again.

Ocean View Vacation

The property was very clean and very well appointed. The views of the ocean were amazing. We could watch pelicans flying overhead in formation, dolphins playing and surfers riding the waves. We walked on the oceanfront everyday with a choice of beach or a path that went on for miles; all just steps from the place. There were many restaurants a stones throw away with an array of choices including tacos, upscale dining, pizza, sushi, health food, seafood, ice cream, coffee places and many breakfast choices. If you want to eat in, there is a grocery store across the street from the place not to mention a full pharmacy. If I had a criticism, the sheets in the master bedroom could use updating to something more luxurious and there is no in apartment laundry only coin laundry down the hall. Otherwise, pretty perfect and quite comfortable. We would stay here again for the views and proximity to the ocean alone!

Wonderful Time

Came to town for daughter’s college graduation. Location was perfect for the grandparents staying with us. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, and grocery store. Beautiful views. Fun atmosphere and lots to do during day. Quiet at night. Fun bar scene (if ok with hanging with college kids) Condo had everything we needed. Nice to have designated parking space. Will definitely stay again.

Great place for our San Diego adventure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Pacific Beach condo. As per the other reviews, the interior of the building is older but the unit itself is updated and extremely clean and comfortable. It was right in the heart of Pacific Beach with easy access to the beach and boardwalk (just outside the door!) restaurants and entertainment like bike rentals. The view from the patio is incredible for sunsets and people watching while enjoying the sunny weather. The parking space was definitely appreciated, we had a medium sized SUV and it fit just fine. The condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including beach chairs/towels, coolers, umbrella, as well as a fully stocked kitchen and kid things like a pack n play and umbrella stroller if you bring the little ones. We would not hesitate to stay again, John was an excellent host and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! The condo was just as expected, probably even better! The view was fantastic! Plenty of room for our family of 4. John, the host was always available for any questions. When we come back we will definitely want to stay here again!

VRBO Pacific Beach

Could use more towels and washcloths. Also, would think about getting higher toilets in bathrooms for elderly tenants. Otherwise, the condo was great and views fantastic. Since there were 4 adults the first week and 5 adults the second week we feel more towels and wash cloths would have been nice. Also, I couldn’t find any pot holders. Higher toilets are a must. . Otherwise, it was a great time that was had by all.

Perfect location for a Holiday vacation

We were happy to find a great unit right on the boardwalk during the holidays. It was quiet, clean, and secure. Location was perfect and we could walk to everything. John was wonderful to work with and added a touch of holiday cheer. The unit had everything we could possible need - all we added were groceries. Lovely unit - would definitely stay there again!

Not as advertised

While the location (beachfront) may be be very desirable to some, this unit itself is not all it’s advertised to be. The building that it is located in is quite run down, including the common areas. The unit has had its updates, but the bathrooms were not overly clean. We’ve stayed at other VRBOs before, and I’m really unsure how this unit has 109 past reviews which all have rated it 5 stars. I’ve stayed in much better (modern, new) units before and those are a 5 star, but not this one. That is what had me fooled into booking it for 5 nights, but my family and I checked out of the unit after just one night even though it is non-refundable. I wrote to the host to let him know we checked out, and there was no response. The unit had recently cleaned carpets, which I appreciate, but it was over sprayed with Lysol and Febreeze which actually made me sick. I spoke with him before check in and followed all rules as per the instructional check in email, and he was kind on our initial and only phone call. But as soon as we told him we weren’t satisfied with the place, we were ghosted. We have taken pictures of the things that we weren’t happy with. If you’re into staying somewhere with good views, and over sprayed with chemicals then this is the place. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere, and try to find something that is better.

Great place for a family

This place had it all! The views and access was everything we were looking for! Very quiet and quant! Everyone in the building was respectful. It was very nice to have all the beach items (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and toys) available inside this unit. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone with a family.

Great room in a great location!

Nice and clean, amazing view, great location and easy to walk to all kinds of restaurants and bars, grocery store, CVS, pretty much whatever you need. All the windows in the living room made for a fantastic view of the ocean and beach.
