SHOULD HAVE KNOWN

Posted Jan 20, 2017
Pros: BEAUTIFULLY WELL KEPT ~1900'S BUILDING.
Cons: POWER OUTLET ACCESS. TEMP CONTROL.
IT'S AN OLD, OLD HOTEL. IT IS WONDERFULLY QUAINT - WONDERFULLY, BUT, CAN'T FIND ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, NO TEMP CONTROL. NO FOR ME.

Nice hotel if you need to stay in the area

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: Location is good in a fun area of San Francisco
Cons: Room furnishings updated and staff noise levels
The hotel is a little dated and while the "period" theme of the hotel is fine it doesn't mean furnishings need to look tired and worn out. The staff are also unbelievably noisy which means no sleeping in

Very small room

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Location: Great location with plenty of great nearby restaurants. Easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and other attractions.
Lovely old building but room was a tight fit with luggage and no elevator, so travel light.

Perfect location

Nice quaint hotel. Perfect location with everything within a 15 min walk. Rooms are small but very charming. A lot of good places to eat and sidewalk tables. Mama's is worth the wait.

Good location

A very tiny small room barely takes one person. No place to put your luggage. Overhead fan was noisy and made it difficult to have a quiet sleep.

Pleasant experience. For us, it was located just right...away from the nightlife, but not too far to walk for Fisherman's Wharf, or Chinatown. Being in North Beach, it is surrounded by lots of good restaurants. If you go for breakfast at Mama's which is across the street, make sure you're in line by 7:30 for an 8:00 opening...if you're not, be prepared to stand in line waiting for an hour or longer.

Visiting San Francisco

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Location and that's about it really, its not a hotel its a bed and breakfast
Cons: Erm, lots...mainly the staff, well one of them and the breakfast, its not good enough for 2016.
Location: Location good for the Wharf
Well, its a good location for Fisherman's Wharf. The rooms are tight, space wise, so is the shower. The breakfast is not help yourself and again is a little tight so to speak. Most of the staff were helpful apart from the very rude, opinionated and obnoxious German member of staff on the front desk.

Perfect location

The hotel staff was very accommodating. It's a very small bed and breakfast, and you truly get that European vibe. They will cook you breakfast each morning and sit at their large table with other guests. It's in the perfect location!!! Highly recommend.

Centrally located B & B

Posted Jun 21, 2016
Pros: It was centrally located.
Cons: The parking was a real issue for us. The parking garage is a block away and somewhat on the expensive side. With free parking and valet access, wow.
Location: Chinatown, the trolley, the harbor and all of its restaurants and attractions
This is a very nice B & B. The breakfasts were a bit on the sparse side. Mostly croissants and the like. However, the room was very comfortable and centrally located to many of the sights to see in San Francisco.
