“My husband, daughter and I wanted to stay in a house near San Jose, and this worked out really nicely. The property is just gorgeous with the flowers and greenery everywhere. Eduardo and Betty are so sweet. We paid extra for dinner and breakfast the first day which was a huge help until we could get to the grocery store.I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone elderly or with little kids—no railing on the stairs or paved paths. You need a car to stay here, for sure. And the bed in the main room was……

“In Costa Rica we were traveling from Uvita to Cahuita and wanted to break up the drive. We are SO happy to have found Roberto's place. It was AMAZING. I WISH we would have had more time at this location. It was my favorite and we stayed in 5 of the Provinces. “This place was way up in the Pinilla Highlands but such a cool little spot. The pool had leaves in ot due to the winds but was very clean unlike some places we have stayed. The host was very responsive and the property was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful little getaway. You could also see the howler money when you walked to the pool. The road getting to this little gem was a bit rough so you need a 4x4 vehicle for sure. Really close to Avellanas beach area and restaurants. A big plus!”

“Wow this place was HUGE!!! This is a mansion near downtown. There ere like 8 beds at least, a giant courtyard inside, everything was clean and the host got the property ready in one day after our previous reservation did not give us check in information in time and I had to book somewhere else. They had it ready so quickly and Ms Cruz was so nice when we arrived. Don’t miss on this place. The only downside is there is no AC, but we didn’t get too hot at night. Maybe adding screens for the doors……
