"This was quite a find - with such an interesting name, I just had to book a night there. It really is a jewel, it seems very new. We arrived early and had a splendid greeting. In view of our disability and difficulty walking, we were changed to a ground floor room which was spacious and seriously cool in the current heatwave. It feels like a farm with all the lovely hens and chicks around. Breakfast was ample and tasty. "

This bed and breakfast (coffee and croissant in the Centrale Bar in the piazza below) may be one of only a few places here to stay. "Beautiful setting once there. You have to go to a large gate and ring to let you in and then easy to park securely . The wine made there is really excellent and fairly priced. The olive oil is also great. We bought 3 litres! The staff were really helpful and Italian or English is fine. There was no menu option in the restaurant as it was quiet when we stayed. But nevertheless we were cooked a high quality meal of three courses. Room was large with separate living room. The location is near the autostrada so convenient but there is a country road to drive down (as might be expected for a farm site). So. Beware of potholes! Will happily return and very much recommend this place. "
