    "Breakfast was good. Most of the staff were very accommodating, especially with children. The grounds are beautiful, pool could be cleaner. Not very much shade, no umbrellas at the pool. Unfortunately, the beach was not great, very rocky and bad weather caused big waves… The room is comfortable, however ants were a guest most of time. Shuttle to Tropea was quite expensive. Overall, nice stay."

    "it wasn’t what we expected for a 5 star. room cramped. off the highway. not close to beach (photos on orbitz we re deceiving) no porters for luggage. we moved the last night to a four star 15 mins away with far superior amenities right on beach didn’t offer refund for that night. far better options around. don’t be deceived by the stars"

    "The food was a wonderful surprise. Location without a car made it challenging with poor weather for walkers to get up to the village. As far as the room it was clean and simple. Giovanni was most attentive in the restaurant, but Paola was unbelievable. We watched his attentiveness with great admiration. Really made the restaurant feel special which in turn translated to the patrons. "
