The next day they were replaced with only two again, so we had to go get two more again. I also hate when there is not much venting out of the bathroom. It got so humid in there. The ceiling was wet. "What a charming place. Everything about the place looks like it has history. The rooms are large, very clean, with every provision you could want. The hotel includes two restaurants and a bar. The staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. I would highly recommend Tremont to others."

"We stayed here because I was working in Cedar Falls and in Ames and this was a good halfway point. It is so peaceful by the river and the host was very accommodating. My husband lives with a physical disability and doesn't handle stairs well; this place has no stairs and was very accessible and worked well for him. Our dog loved it too, plenty of green space. A lovely spot in a small town, one of our favorite stops. Thank You!"
