This hotel is charming, full of history, and beautifully preserved. It has an old-world feel that makes it unique compared to modern stays. While there’s no air conditioning—which can make it a bit warm at times—the overall atmosphere makes up for it. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, always going out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Guests will also appreciate the free minibar and reliable Wi-Fi, which add extra comfort to the stay. The rooms can feel a bit dusty, but not in a way that makes them unclean—more like the inevitable character of an older, historic building. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of food, making mornings easy and enjoyable. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan to use the train for travel. That said, being close to the station and just a few streets from the red-light district means you may encounter some drug use and prostitution in the area.
