"Checkin required phoning from the locked front door, which was a bit of a hassle without a local phone. Hostel is nice, small , clean with a spacious common area. Location is awesome. Right in the middle of town. Room was small and air conditioned. The common shower had no hot water in the evening or in the morning and the front desk was rarely staffed. A good value. Only complaint would be the hot water which i was not able to address as no one was present when i left "

"This facility needs a facelift. Our room looked haggard, desperately needing a paint job. It smelled so strongly of bleach that we had to leave the windows open for the first day. One of the floor's toilets needed to be scrubbed on the underside of the seat for the entire 3 days we were there, and the soap dispenser did not work despite the fact that we notified the front desk staff. "The room was so incredibly hot, I slept in a pool of sweat, and tried open my window to get some air , however, I was met face to face with the neighbour’s bathroom next door, so that was kind of awkward. I also asked them to clean, and they took out the garbage, but maybe I was expecting too much? The bathroom was great, the housemates were great, staff tried to help, when I needed it mostly - one guy gave me a hand towel to use for my body after showering (this happened two days in a row)....
