9.6/10 Exceptional! (182 reviews)
We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite at Milos Sea Resort, paying over $1,000 per night (including taxes). While the suite and the views were beautiful, the overall experience did not justify the price.
Despite being marketed as a luxury resort, it felt more like a converted camping site. Reception is inside the restaurant, there are no real common areas, and the advertised pool/bar area appears abandoned. The photos online are misleading. The restaurant serves the same limited menu for lunch and dinner, with restricted hours. Service was slow because the property was completely
understaffed, and after the only bartender left, cocktails were no longer available. The room lacked basic luxury touches like a minibar a nice TV and room service was consistently slow. We also found bugs in the bathroom and bedroom ,cleaning chemicals were sprayed and left out all over the room , causing my wife to have an allergic reaction. We ended up leaving a day early due to that. The gym was tiny, with minimal equipment and missing dumbbells. The suite and the views are exceptional, but that's where the luxury ends. For over $1,000 per night, I expected far more than what felt like a 2–3-star experience. As someone born in Greece who has traveled extensively, I was also surprised by how many locals spoke negatively about the family managing the property and warned us about their reputation with tourists. While I can't verify those claims, my own experience unfortunately matched the sentiment. SAD
