I lose my Havainas in the last morning there, all the shoes can't wear to indoor, only take off on the hall. So I respect rules. But the manager she didn't want to help me and her shouted to me, she said:” It's my problems not her, everybody here, she don't know who's wear and her and she's staff have no eyes to check everywhere.” And I said: “So it's my problems? You say put all the shoes outside and now it was losing, you don't need to have responsibility to help?” She said:”You can go to police officer by yourself, and she doesn't need to go with me, if polices think it's their fault they will come to check!” Everybody knows Thailand's polices process very slowly! She didn’t want to reparation to me, she said just a shoes! But for me, I just bought it 9 days it's a new one. I have no shoes to back Bangkok tomorrow. Whatever, I already wrote the bad review in Tripadvisor! And she knew it, she changed her attitude really quickly.Stole flip flops is not a big problem. I'm not a mean person. Maybe she talked to me politely and deal with this thing kindly, I could understand.I’m just a guest to visit there. Who like to have a dispute? If I didn't fight for my rights, who did? However, this is a great hotel which is clean and comfortable and others people are kind. I'll go to the hotel again. Yet, the manager should change other person or her personality/attitude. The food and drinks are fantastic and the staff are really attentive and kind. Welcome mango smoothie when we arrived was a lovely surprise and just what we needed. They let us leave our bags by reception since we arrived on the island too early to check in. The breakky menu is very Aussie friendly with eggs and bacon etc. Theres even a little library and lounge area which is open to the island breeze and surrounded by glorious bright green creeping plants, a great place to take 5 and get your bearings. The rooms are cleverly laid out with complimentary water and huge comfy beds with air con and a nice clean bathroom. It is a menu type breakfast rather than buffet so it tastes fresh and there is a wide selection of food. The bathroom door didn’t close. There was no handsoap in my bathroom and no small towels. The bed was rock hard. Found a cockroach in my bathroom and the room was full of mosquitos :( The breakfast was amazing, so good! The staff was polite and nice, they helped me with the cockroach. Unfortunately I couldn’t get in contact with them through their emergency line. Quiet at night, had air con, safe, fridge. Bed maybe too hard for many people and pillow very firm. TV in rooms didn’t work (Why bother having a tv then? News channel would be good) but you could watch a dvd. We made a mistake whilst booking and they kindly accommodated us and we really appreciated this customer service. It’s a cute little place. Breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at a hotel which is served in the gorgeous cafe/restaurant next door, Mojo’s. every dish is beautifully presented and tastes amazing! We also had lunch here. Leider war dies auch alles was uns gefallen hat und wir können die durchweg positiven Bewertungen gar nicht nachvollziehen. Das Hotel hat scheinbar ein Abwasserproblem und somit hat man vor allem im Badezimmer einen stetigen Geruch von fauligem Wasser, der auch im Zimmer zu riechen ist. Das schlimmste ist jedoch, das das Hotel direkt neben einem stark befahrenen Weg liegt auf dem ab 6:30 Uhr morgens alle 15 Sekunden ein laut knatterndes Motorrad vorbeifährt. An schlafen ist dann nicht mehr zu denken. Die Wände des Zimmers sind leider sehr dünn, so dass wir zudem auch unsere Nachbarn vor dem Zimmer sehr laut gehört haben.
