The property is very private and not overlooked in any way. The pool is 12m x 6m with and outdoor shower. WIFI is included in your price as is a complementary welcome pack. This includes local wine, beer, water, bread milk etc, to get you started or handy if you have a late or a Sunday arrival. Should you need a larger shop we can arrange this. With around 10000 m square of outdoor space including olive groves and lots of fruit trees plus almond and wallnuts. Seasonal fruits include lemon and limes, pomegranites, figs, apricots,oranges, grape vines and more. Explore and help yourself. The property has plenty of space for outdoor entertaining and eating. Pool bar, well equipped. There is a large gas bbq with a griddle and burner as well as a traditional wood fired bbq. There is table tennis table. Football game (table). Inside there is a kitchen with usual appliances including washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave. The lounge is comfortable with a large flat screen tv. It has sky tv so english channels plus Spanish tv plus you can stream Netflix etc. There are board games and a supply of books. In the lounge there is a cctv system set up for your security for outside. We advise it to be turned on when you leave the property and turned off when back in. There is also an xbox 360 so bring your own games if required. There are 2 bathrooms including a wet room and an ensuite to the main bedroom. The bedrooms are 2 doubles and 2 with twin beds. New ceiling fans in all bedrooms, lounge, kitchen. Sax town at 5 minutes drive away has everything you would need for your stay. It has banks, several supermarkets including a large new Consum, shops and lots of bars and restaurants, a police station. There is also a hand Medical Centre open 7 days a week. It has a 12th century castle with traditional streets and houses leading up to it. The main festival is held at the beginning of February but there are many more throughout the year in Sax and surrounding villages. A weekly market is held on Monday mornings, great for local produce and summer clothes. Located north west of Alicante, 30 minutes from the airport and beaches with Benidorm only 40 minutes away. Being a little away for the expensive costas, Sax is a place where you can eat and drink cheaply. The menu of the day is 12e for 5 courses including drinks. There is an excellent sports complex with a large outdoor pool, football and basketball courts, gym. There are close surrounding villages to explore including, Castalla, Salinas (large car boot sale on Sunday morning), Villenna and Elda. Alicante is a beautiful city within easy reach. There is a lovely harbour, castle and tree lined walk ways over looking the sea. Stalls open on an evening selling great local goods. Theme parks are about an hour away and include Aqualandia, Terra Mittica. Les Fonts D'algar is a place of natural beauty, 15kms from Benidorm with only a small entrance fee. Elda is only 10 minutes drive away. There you will find a Carrefour, leather factories, a large Saturday market and more. Beaches are 30 minutes away but you can find your favourite, or try a trip to Tabarca Island for a day out. C est une maison très agréable dans la campagne proche des commodités avec un accès rapide à la quatre voies pour se rendre rapidement à Alicante. Les extérieurs sont exceptionnels tant du point de vue du cadre que des équipements (superbe piscine, un bar et une cuisine d été très agréable, nombreuses tables extérieures familiales, plancha , barbecue, paellera, table de ping pong, babyfoot qui ont fait le bonheur des enfants mais aussi des adultes. Les ventilateurs au plafond dans chaque pièce ont été très appréciés. Alicante, Valencia - alles nicht weit weg. Netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Empfang vor Ort (spanisch, englisch). The highlight was undoubtedly the spacious pool, perfect for cooling off and relaxing. The beautiful scenery, including picturesque grape vines and lemon trees, created a serene and idyllic atmosphere. We enjoyed lounging comfortably on the poolside loungers and making use of the outdoor bar. The villa's proximity to Sax town and Castalla made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. The ceiling fans were a fantastic addition, keeping us cool during the hot days. Communication with Maxine the owner was seamless, and Armando was incredibly helpful and always available if needed. The pool area is fantastic, enclosed with an outdoor kitchen very many happy hours spent swimming and socialising! The little Olive orchard was a pleasure to stroll around morning and evening with our dogs. We marked the villa down in description because we were assured that the fencing was secure - it isn't unless your within the pool enclosure. This meant we had to at all times watch/keep tied or on a long length of rope, our rescue dog that would escape under the loose wire fencing. We felt that some furnishings needed to be replaced including the master bedroom (we went out and bought a mattress protector) which had collapsed and was held up with concrete blocks. Marine was very sympathetic and true to her word has upgraded furnishings which we can see from the photos. We would DEFINITELY book to stay again, hopefully a new closed off area will be implemented around the villa so dogs can't get into the olive Grove and into the campo! This villa is quietly situated, beautiful countryside surrounding and close to the most friendly town of Sax with English speaking fantastic vet. Lovely owners, great welcome pack! Algunos defectos en algunas bombillas y el futbolín estaba estropeado, pero en general estupendo, no falta detalle, tuvimos todo lo que necesitábamos. Pool was lovely (very cold lol as not heated), clean and maintained well by Armando. Our first ever pomegranate straight from a tree!The olive trees were amazing as were all the other fruit trees and grape vines. Poor tiny frogs in pool in morning -fact of life though, we did save 2 out of 12 -Dragon flies etc amazing as was the owl on the lamppost by the gated entrance for the private road in front. Outside bar great idea, taped up the pipe on dishwasher as the nightly mice going over the top of the grapevines seem partial to the plastic outlet pipe and it leaked. Whats wrong with these creatures, all that fruit to eat lol. Cicadas lovely noise, scary when got sucked into car vent ha ha. The most fridges and freezers in a place we have ever been! Great BBQ, didn't use the outdoor paella cooker as there were only 2 of us. Table tennis/football table/trampoline need some tlc, but we didnt have kids with us so no probs. We always go to a place with a view for bringing grand children, and really this would have been perfect as fenced off cctv etc., but the fire hazard issue would make us not take children. The only exit is via the front door, all windows are barred (as is the norm in Spain), so with children would want another exit. Wet room shower great, ensuite in master room - would be great if you are not tall as you have to stand in the bath so if tall have to stoop. Wifi - pretty bad- sky box - pretty bad- netflix fine, on tv but to be fair you dont need the tv. Most of us have good data packages so we used wifi hotspot on pads laptops we brought with us. Cleanliness was not good in kitchen & lounge, but again no problem, though the amount of opened unusable stuff people have left behind in the only food cupboard needs to be dumped. We kept our stuff on work surface so the cleaner can use/chuck as they want. Ditto fridge. We defrosted fridges and freezer in kitchen so they were use able for us. Welcome package - hey this is a nice touch and we were asked what we wanted as well, but as we were not fussy we had - a pineapple, half a melon, uht milk, pkt ham, pkt cheese slices, bottle of white wine , 2 fizzy waters and a baguette. Theres loads and loads of cleaning products to use in cupboard by wet room shower. Front door - very very very difficult to lock before you put chain on. We were looking for the peace and serenity of the country with ready access to services and a beach. This house provided everything we were looking for. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion of the country where the only voices we heard were passing cyclists. We had access to grocery stores, bakeries, cafes - all of it - just a 5 minute drive away. The next town over, Elda, gave us access to Crossfit Ambit for daily workouts where everyone was so welcoming. The beaches of Alicante were an easy 1/2 hours drive away. We did some hiking in El Plano just 10 minutes away and spent hours poolside just soaking up the tranquility. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was perfect. The owner was very easy to contact with any questions and their onsite representative gave us plenty of information about the area markets and festivals. While we arrived by plane, we left via train and both the airport and train station in Alicante we very easy to navigate. Just a great experience all around. ##### Dennis S.
