If you want to ski down the mountain slope, you'll need to reach the top of it first. Hop on Schaufeljochbahn and enjoy the ride.
You'll have no end of sightseeing choices when visiting Neustift Im Stubaital. Schaufeljochbahn is a great place to kick off here, but there are plenty of other worthwhile sights to appreciate. Gaislachkogltal Gondola, Stubai Glacier, and Timmelsjoch are not far from the mountainside transportation system and and will cap off your day nicely.
