"People wanted to party all night and this is a small town, then the 2nd night someone decided to take off outside our room making noise in their car. The pool was out of order, the ice machine was out of order. They need to remodel this hotel as they don't sweep, mop or dust. The tub was scary but that's because they use one of those tub mats and it pulls up the enamel. No stopper in the tub or sink just open also scary. The ironing board had a big rip in it and the beds need to be replaced as you could feel the springs. And there were roaches. And someone likes to just stand and spit gum in the car lot. Not a pleasant stay at all."

"My sister and I stayed here for a weekend trip. We planned to visit Providence Canyon State Park and this bed and breakfast was about 30 minutes away. Naomi, the hostess/owner and charming conversationalist, was delightfully welcoming and pleasant. The bedroom was lovely and large, enough room to unpack and sit in swivel armchairs to relax. The bathroom was spacious with modern upgrades, while the home still retained its historic charm and beauty. The bed was soft and comfy. The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning (control the temp with a remote) and a TV with streaming channels, but we didn't really use the TV. Breakfast was warm and the coffee was delicious. Scrabbled eggs and bacon, French toast and bacon, yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit were the offerings over the three mornings we were there. Richland is a very small town, so there are no dining options for lunch and dinner. You will have to drive to Americus or Columbus to get something to eat, but it worked out for us, as we were exploring during the days of our stay. Both Americus and Columbus are about a 30 minute drive, and they both have quaint downtown areas. We also visited Richland Rum Distillery (a 7 minute walk) and tasted some of their offerings. We had a great weekend. We would recommend M G Richardson Bed and Breakfast!"

"Was a perfect stay. We didnt bring our four legged friend but were grateful we could. Bed was comfortable, my son slept in the chair (I may need buy one when we get home) Everything was neat and clean as expected. "
