Mid-Lake Perfection w/ a Covered Boat Port w/ Power - Pets

Lunker Lodge is the perfect place to relax when you're not on the lake. It's large at over 1,400 sqft and a comfortable place to hang out with a sofa, 2 recliners, strong unlimited free WIFI signal and a 55" HDTV powered by DirecTV! You can enjoy a meal st the dining table or more casually at the island in the kitchen.

You'll enjoy the 2 full bathrooms, each attached to a bedroom. We can't wait to hear what you have to say about the huge shower with dual shower-heads! Don't bring towels, linens, soap or other essentials because we have you covered. Lunker Lodge has an excellent WIFI signal both inside and outside of the cabin with no maximum usage.

We're located halfway between Guntersville and Scottsboro, only a stones throw from the Waterfront boat ramp. Other famous and close ramps include Goose Pond and Siebold Creek. You can trailer your boat to many ramps which saves time and fuel.

The cabin sits on 2 beautiful acres with multiple access points making it easy to enter/exit the property. We have plenty of covered parking for vehicles and boats as well as power to charge your batteries for the next day.

Our property is a fantastic getaway whether there are 2 or 32 in your group. With 4 cabins on our property we can deliver fantastic value for your lodging dollar no matter the size of your group.

David & Edna own and operate every aspect of the property including doing all the cleaning ourselves. You will not find cleaner lodging at the lake! Come stay with us and explore all that North East Alabama has to offer.

Lunker Lodge

Our stay was great. The property was in a perfect location to the lake. Convenient short drive to the boat ramp. The house was just as described. Dave was the best. He made sure we had all the check-in information before our arrival and kindly checked in after to be sure everything was ok. Our son and grandson went out with Chris Flint, a great guide and caught lots of fish. Needless to say we enjoyed Guntersville and plan on coming back in the spring. We will definitely contact D&E Landing for a place to stay.

GREAT PLACE

We enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect. It was nice to have a 1 minute ride to the ramp to launch the boat. It was also good to have a covered place to park you r boat. The cabin is awesome and very nice. We loved the layout of the rooms and had plenty of room for our group of guys. We will stay here again.

Great place for exploring Northern Alabama

We stayed here for a weekend while waiting to purchase our home. The house has everything we needed, and more. The area around Lake Guntersville is so beautiful, and there is a lot to do "besides fishing." we loved it. Dave and Edna were perfect hosts, and saw to it that we were comfortable during our visit. It was just the two of us this time, but this house would be PERFECT for a larger family gathering.

Perfect fishing getaway

Property owner was outstanding to work with. Property was clean and in great shape. Plenty of room for trucks and boats and charging available. Location is great! Close to Goose Pond, next to Waterfront. Couldn’t ask for anything more, will be my future site for Guntersville trips!

Great weekend getaway spot

Cabin was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Boat ramp very close to unload the boat. And I loved that the owners texted us the day of check in to make sure we got in ok and if there was anything we needed that the cabin didn't have. Not many owners would take the time to do that.

Everything was great!!!

The property was clean with a gorgeous mountain veiw, the owners were very hospitable. We were fleeing hurricane Irma and they were so kind and gracious to us during a time of turmoil. Memorial Day weekend trip

We had a great time at the Lunker Lodge. Enough parking under the carport for 4 boats, which worked out great because we some scattered storms. David and Edna were very accommodating. Loved the stay

We stayed here while visiting Huntsville space center and to relax on our way to Florida. From the outside this house looks small but once inside it’s very spacious and beautifully decorated. This was my Parents first time staying in a house from HomeAway and they loved it.

Wonderful Place

We arrivied late thursday night , Dave had the place ready for us when we arrived , I have been travelin to fish Guntersville for the last 13 years with multiple trips throughout the year, but by far this is the best place I have ever stayed at. The attention to detail , and the layout for sleeping accomidations was wonderful, before I left I booked 2 more trips with Dave , one in October and one in 2016 cant wait to get back . Dave you and Edna keep up the good work , it truly shows you care about your guests.

Beautiful property

We rented this cabin while visiting friends who used to live in Scottsboro. It was such a beautiful property. Everything was clean and well kept. The cabin had all the amenities that you would need. Excellent Lodging at the Lunker Lodge D&E landing!

What a great place! We have stayed at many place around Lake Guntersville of the years. This one is at the top of the list. David and Edna are excellent owners and treated us great. Everything thing was clean and facilities had everything we needed. Excellent parking for boats and trucks, easy access to the lake. We will be back. Thanks David and Edna we will be back next year!
