“Would 100% recommend this place to stay. Jessica was so welcoming and invited our girls in the evening to feed their calves. She gave us her personal wifi password when we did not have service. She passed along her cell phone number so that we could communicate. She met us when we were leaving the next day to make sure everything was good. As for the accomodations; it was tight to fit 4 people for the night, but we made it work. The outdoor shower was excellent, and the port-a-potty was……

“If Peeing and pooping in a bucket from HD is your thing, you'll like this place. Dig some holes at least. Also, the dirty mattress looking thing behind the door was gross. The stairs are balanced on rocks, not very steady.”

“This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area. We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup!”

“Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before……
