Sege Vacation Packages
The national capital Honiara is situated 150 miles (241 kilometers) east of Sege.
Sege isn't the only spot in the Solomon Islands worth experiencing; travelers can also take a day trip or two to experience the magic of the nearby countryside, cities and towns. Gatokae and Munda are two more places worth visiting while you're in the Solomon Islands.
Visit the Solomon Islands' history museums. These are good places to spend time, particularly when the weather is less than perfect.
Take some time out from sightseeing and spend a relaxing afternoon scuba diving or surfing.
Why not treat your tastebuds for a tour of the Solomon Islands' eating establishments. People in this region regularly use fish and taro roots in their dishes. Ulu (breadfruit) and green papaya curry are just two interesting local specialties for you to try. Finish with green papaya, a popular dessert. Kava (juice made plant roots) is a refreshing beverage in this area.
Should you be lucky enough to be in the region on the 7th of July, partake in the events surrounding the country-wide Independence Day celebrations.
Sadly, vacations can't go on forever, so when it's time go home, head to the nearest major airport in Honiara, 160 miles (257 kilometers) to the east.
