The caring and personable staff really made the stay at this hotel a pleasure. They made an effort to customise things to your taste and were very kind with surprising free drinks when just relaxing by the pool. We had the most incredible time at Phos Hotel! Me and my best friend booked Phos Hotel for our yearly girls’ holiday and we were just blown away by the service, cleanliness and friendliness here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured - it’s really peaceful and relaxing as it’s not a huge hotel which we prefer. The staff were incredible and always went above and beyond for us! Maria and Petros were both fantastic, so kind and helpful, printing off the bus timetable, booking excursions and giving us recommendations of places to go! Akis on the bar and the security guy were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome and safe! Our room was spotless (and continued to be, housekeeping was fantastic!), we had a view over the pool, which was glorious to wake up to every day. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety, and again the staff were super friendly and took good care of us. The location was perfect for us as we wanted easy access to the beach, but also the ability to be able to get into Chania easily by public transport! Chania is a €2 20 minute bus journey away, so super easy and cheap to get to! We also went to Rethymno which was just over an hour away by bus and only about €7 (you have to go to Chania first and get the bus from there!). We just had the most amazing time here, wish we could come back already!! Would definitely recommend!
