Our Hamlet in Selfoss
We love our stay at this property. It was very clean, everything worked right, the kitchen was well supplied and fact that it had more than one bathroom was a great plus since I was the only man with four ladies in the house. However, what we enjoy the most was the location of this property. It was very secluded, but at the same time near the town of Selfoss and 1.5 hours away from Reykjavik. We were able to easily explore the South all the way to Vik and the West all the way to Kirkjufell. The highlight of our stay was the nights we were able to witness the Northern lights due to the low light pollution in this area. Our time here was magical and we can't wait to come back

Beautiful and spacious home.
The house was lovely and had a lot of room for our group of seven. We had three generations of our family traveling with us and so it was nice for everyone to have their own space with our individual schedules. The house was located very conveniently to many sights we wanted to visit which was terrific. The only check in issue we had was figuring out how to change the propane tank for the stove as it was empty on our arrival. The homeowner responded back promptly, but a neighbor kindly helped us in the meantime. After that all went well with our visit.

Great Property
A great house for the 9 of us. Really well-equipped, great coffee-maker. Love the sofa area and plenty of places to spread out. Wi-fi was strong. Outdoor shower was a good complement to the beautiful shower inside and also after a soak in the hot tub (note, this is truly a hot tub, not a jacuzzi). Nice owners, Thorsteinn was very responsive. Finally, a perfect location for exploring golden triangle and the south coast. Everything you need in Selfoss, 15 minutes away. Would stay here again for sure.
