We had a private pool that shares with I think 8 rooms on the ground floor, but I found it was still beautiful to have access to it right on your balcony. Rooftop restaurant and pool having amazing view of the sunset. I found not many people found this area, but make sure you go up the spiral staircase next to one of the rooftop elevators and see a complete panorama view of Seminyak and beyond! This includes the massive statue that’s by Uluwatu. In terms of dining and shopping, there are a number of restaurant options close by within walking distance, though the road is not easy on the eyes (sidewalks are sometimes nonexistent) and to get to the touristy shopping area of the city you need to either walk around 40 minutes or take a very, very cheap Grab ride (Bali Uber). You can pretty much get anywhere you want to go in the city for under 6-7 dollars with Grab. Silver lining of being outside of the busy area is the beach is practically empty. The breakfast was exceptional with both wide ranging buffet plus a la carte options included. It was quite quiet while we were there so we got to enjoy easy use of all facilities, but I imagine there may be a bit of a run on gym space, beach towels, and deck chairs if the hotel was full as they were all quite small/limited in number.
