1.We arrived at about 4PM and checked in. The moment we entered the residence upstairs seem to be holding a gymnastics contest. We shrugged it off as excited kids. No! This was non stop drumming on the floor until we checked out around 1150 pm that same day 8 hours after checking in.
2. The outside ambient air began to smell like a busted septic tank and raw sewage. Not sulfur like a hot spring but sewage! Unfortunately, I can tell the difference. The smell began to seep...

"We had a really nice stay at this hotel. The food was excellent. Chef Oohira is very skilled-the food was surprisingly delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Really high quality ingredients.
Also, the rooms were clean as they had just opened a few months ago (Oct 2018). Further, their shuttle service was a bit inconvenient since they only offer 2 times per day to the station but other than that it was an overall great stay here!"

The facility is new, a huge living & dining area compare to Nasu where we stayed a year ago.
Too many huge bugs in the balcony, lots were dead already but not cleaned… narrow parking area and the aisle "
"A true gem, easily one of the most memorable and charming places I have ever stayed in. The staff were all so warm and hospitable. We had a toddler with us and everyone was so sweet and genuinely kind to us, a group of foreign visitors.
Every part of the hotel was furnished with charm and personality, with care given to even the smallest details such as the daily floral arrangements and warm matcha and snacks upon our return. The rooms and onsen were all extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner in the beautiful partitioned dining areas were exceptional! Each meal showcased the best that the season and surroundings had to offer.
The river outside the property was gorgeous.
