Surf Shack - Beach Front

Perched just above the Great Ocean Road the Surf Shack has incredible uninterrupted 180-degree ocean views. And the water is just 60 paces away, making it a perfect place to hang out after a day on the beach or exploring the Otway Coast Hamlets region.





The Space:



Here, nature takes centre stage with endless beachfront delights, rock pools, bush trails, and cascading waterfalls. Enjoy morning strolls on the beach and lazy days by the shore, just steps away from the Surf Shack's doorstep. A leisurely 15-minute walk along 'Paddy's Path' leads you to the Wye General Store and Wye Beach Hotel.

Relax on the expansive deck, lounge indoors while admiring the glorious ocean views, or unwind on the daybed with the sound of crashing waves as your lullaby. The fully-equipped kitchen invites culinary adventures, while outdoor BBQ sessions offer a chance to soak up the scenery.

Inside, ample space awaits for both relaxation and entertainment. Gather around the eight-seater dining table for board games, or cozy up by the wood heater on the corner-style couch.
Downstairs, find convenience in the bathroom-laundry setup and a separate toilet.

Upstairs, wake to ocean views and greet the sunrise from comfy queen bedrooms and dream of ocean voyages from the four-berth bunk room across the hallway. A second bathroom provides a roomy walk-in shower and toilet.

Max 8 guests will have private use of Surf Shack:



- Booking for 1-2 guests you will have access to 1 x queen sized room (other rooms remain closed)



- Booking for 3-4 guests you will have access to 2 x queen sized rooms (bunk room remains closed)



- Booking for 5-8 guests you will have access to all bedrooms

Footing it around Separation Creek and Wye River is best, with the beach just across the road it's easy to leave your car parked off street at the house.



Separation Creek is a little more than a two hour drive from Melbourne and we recommend you have your own transport to explore more of the beautiful Otway Ranges and the Great Ocean Road. There is private off street parking on site for up to 2 vehicles. A rail service to Geelong and bus service from Geelong link Melbourne to Separation Creek and Wye River.

Immaculate with a jaw dropping view

To say this property was immaculate is an understatement. The owner clearly cherishes this home. It’s the tidiest and most manicured home we’ve stayed in, period. The view from all the rooms is just incredible, access to the beach just across the road, and you can walk via a hidden path to Wye River in about 10 minutes. The beds are comfy, the shower and bathrooms awesome. The kitchen is great. Overall you couldn’t pick a better place to stay.
