Great looking hotel, right on the lake, has been around since 1800's but is kept current with regular updates, space age toilet was amusing, very Japanese. 5 minute walk to town, great location, great hotel, great staff

We liked.the peaceful location. It meant a 20 mins bus from Flam but was worth it. Lovely seafood restaurant on the wharf looking down the fjord. Good service and nice seafood.
