Serra da Estrela Residences

Amazing!

Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back.

One of my favorite places in the world. A beautiful property above the clouds with untouchable views. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is top notch, and the rooms are all uniquely beautiful and well appointed. Can't wait to return for a third time!

What a cute spot! We loved our brief stay at TerraSense! The property is beautiful and peaceful- the room was so aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. And the staff was so kind and welcoming- great breakfast we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend as we will be back when we are on the area again!

beautiful location and property, quiet, good breakfast. really enjoyed the stay. good location to explore serra da estrella from, the restaurant was quite good for a hotel, which are usually disappointing, this was not

Beautiful relaxing place

The room was very clean, modern with perfect air conditioning. There was a mini fridge where I kept yogurt and fruit. The lobby had snacks,a coffee machine with many choices and frozen meals which could be warmed up in the microwave downstairs. The included breakfast was out of this world. I will be returning and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was gorgeous! One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Decor was beautiful, the room was very modern and very large. Wonderful breakfast and view from the top floor where you eat breakfast. Staff was helpful and very polite. I will stay here again when I come to Coimbra.

Daba pena irse.

Excellent property in a charming schist village. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a few days at the Convento da Serta Hotel. This was our first time to Serta and we didn't know what to expect of the region. We were very pleasantly surprised by a beautifully renovated hotel, which offers all the modern amenities and features while preserving the architectural details of the original convent. We stayed in one of the historical rooms, belonging to the convent. The room was spacious and clean, with its own temperature control and fully renovated bathroom, and...

Everything about this hotel is top-notch. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's in a lovely rural setting that immediately makes you sigh a huge, "Ahhhhhhh". The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable. The staff was friendly, gracious and professional. All the food was delicious, we were blown away by their homemade cheeses!

LIked the warm pool, the breakfasts and dinners

We absolutely loved our stay at Alva Valley. Great atmosphere, breakfast & amazing customer service with very nice rooms. So nice to escape from the crowds in Porto. We stayed here after our drive through Douro Valley. Highly recommend coming here to unwind.

A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view. The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back.

We loved everything about this place. So much host and then also modern. The people are so nice and supportive. The location is great. Don’t forget to stop in the local restaurant. You will be surprised about the high end food. And the local store has lots of goodies.
