Yes it looks like something from Las Vegas in the 1980s. But, I'm still giving it five stars because the staff is absolutely amazing, I've traveled all over Greece the last two months and most hotels are terrible and hospitality is as well, but these guys are great, they also have the best gym I've seen in almost any hotel anywhere if you are a serious athlete, and their breakfast is phenomenal. Rooms are large as well. A complete lack of communication, examples..breakfast times were changed and not advised on check-in. We were blamed for not advising them what time we would arrive for breakfast, regardless of set breakfast times. I can't rate the breakfast, not worth the additional cost, many local cafes offering a great breakfast. Not advised on parking rebates, as a result we paid the full price, management stated we should have asked them, we did but it had to be before we parked at the hotel We have always received information at check-in. The rooms were clean, you get what you pay for. The most disappointing part was management behaviour, there was zero accountability. Unfortunately we weren't the only guests to receive this treatment." The hotel itself is gorgeous and very clean. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We would open the window at night just to hear the water running in the nearby river. The small historical neighbourhood is majestic and so peaceful. The staff at Kokkino Spiti went above and beyond. Very friendly, welcoming and professional.
