"We stayed there for the wedding we went to. It is a little out of the way, but worth it. We did enjoy our stay there. We would stay there again if need be. It was nice to have a flat yard for the kids to play."

"I could go on and on about how great this property is and how wonderful Donna is, but I think everyone else has already said that. This beautiful property was built in the 1800s and has history with her family. The house has a story and honestly, made it extra special. It was also very nice to come get a hot bath in a whirlpool jetted tub after running 34 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re going to Abingdon. "The house is very nice and well supplied with everything we needed: beautiful porch, lots of amenities, altogether very comfortable! 5 min. from the General Store and less than 10 from the state park entrance. It was a perfect base for day hikes. The host was attentive but not intrusive."

"This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."
