Stays for 7 nights or more will be discounted at 10%.

The cabin is perched on the side of Hatcher Mountain about one mile from Wears Valley Rd on a paved county road. From the windows, you face Cove Mountain in Wears Valley and the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy the privacy of our place. Currently , there is only one cabin to the left of our cabin. To the right, there will be 5 others. They are just starting to build after the fire on March 30, 2022 that burned Cherie’s Chalet and many others.
It is located close to the Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge(9 miles), and Gatlinburg(18 miles). There are 3 bedrooms, one in the loft, one on the main level, and one in the basement. The loft and main level each have a queen sized bed. The basement bedroom has queen over a queen bunk bed and a sofa sleeper in the large game room. (We aare in the process of replacing the bunk bed with a queen bed. )Each level has a full bathroom. Also in the loft is an office equipped with a desk, TV and bean bag chairs. A washer and dryer is located on the main level with a half bath. The living and dining area on the main level allows you to enjoy the awesome view through an entire wall of windows. If you get tired of the view, the living area has comfortable seating to enjoy the gas fireplace, reading, or the flat screen TV. Cabin is equipped with high speed internet. Besides a bedroom and bathroom, the downstairs level includes a pool table, game table, and TV. On the main level there are decks on either side of the house to enjoy the views, relax in the hot tub, eat your meals on the outdoor table, or cook on the gas grill. There is a concrete patio on the basement level to enjoy the sunset. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal for your family and friends.

No use of CANDLES.

ABSOLUTELY no indoor smoking of any kind and no indoor vaping. There will be a $250 fine for indoor smoking.

There is ample parking for 3-5 cars or a few cars and a boat or a small trailer.

The cleaning fee for groups of 8 will be $175.

Pet fee: 2 small dogs-$100 or 1 medium to large dog $100
2 medium or large dog $150
Medium 40-60 pounds, Large any dog over 60 pounds
No cats
Please keep dogs off of the furniture and beds. Please clean up after your dog if it goes in the yard.

Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am.

If you have a large group and need two cabins nearby, there is a rental cabin next door to our cabin called 'A Sight to See' that is listed through HomeAway-927351.

I accept credit cards and debit cards.

If there is damage, I will report it to VRBO and they will charge you. You can only be charged up to the maximum I set for the damage deposit.

Beautiful views

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon and had such a great time. The location is perfect and easy to find. The amenities were nice and well maintained. Definitely recommend this cabin and plan on booking again!

Christmas memories with family!

Perfect for our family. Fairly easy to get to. Kitchen very well equipped for cooking purposes. Very nice washer and dryer. All of the beds were amazing. Best mattresses ever in a rental. The views were absolutely amazing. Many family memories made.

Awesome cabin with Amazing views

We had a wonderful fun filled time at Cherie’s Chalet. We celebrated 4 generations over fall break. The view of the sunrise and the mountains as the mist slowly disappeared was beautiful! There is everything you need to make the best family memories!

Fantastic cabin!

This is a great cabin. The view is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. It was spacious for our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids), which we enjoyed. It was so convenient to have 3 1/2 bathrooms with 3 showers. The location was perfect for us. It is relatively central to all the places we want to visit when we come to TN (GSMNP, Townsend, Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg). The kids loved the pool table. We will definitely check to see if it’s available when we plan our next trip to the Smokies.

Great getaway

The views are amazing!! Great lace to take the family and relax. We saw a momma bear and her cubs playing in the road. The only thing negative I have to say was in the master suite there is a window without a way to block out the light. To some people that might not be a negative but I was on vacation and I wanted to sleep in.

I can’t say enough good things about the host & property manager!!! Upon arrival we had a slight issue, it was 11pm so we waited until the next morning to reach out to Sean. He was there to assist before we even finished our breakfast and followed up with us the remainder of our trip. The night before departure snow came and even with 4WD we were stuck. Graciously Cherie was able to accommodate use for an extra night without any fuss & was sure to make sure everyone made it back home safely. 10/10 would stay here again. Only note was that the place was a bit dusty, however it is a new construction & things take time to settle. It was the perfect place for our little family!

Fantastic Stay in Quiet Wears Valley

We loved our stay at this property - it’s our second time staying at Cherie’s property (first her original listing 3.5 years ago, and now this stay) and we will definitely plan to be back. Our host is kind and hospitable and very quick with communication. The house is spacious and new and clean with beautiful views of the valley. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the deck. We ate outside every meal. The beds were very comfortable! Some of the best we’ve slept in at a vrbo! We loved the house. We also love the area - we don’t usually spend time in downtown gatlinburg but we do a lot of hiking around the area and on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This locations helps cut down on traffic a lot! Thanks for a great stay!

The property had not been properly cleaned and the beds weren’t the most comfortable. However, the view was absolutely amazing and the hot tub was a wonderful way to just relax and chat! Would stay there again!

The Perfect Getaway

Great Christmas Holiday

Could not ask for a better place to spend Christmas in the mountains. Owners made everything so easy. The Cabin/house is so nice with everything you could need. Our stay was all we could expect and more.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet neighborhood kid and pet friendly. It was clean and the owner put in the small details such as Christmas decor and hooks to hang all of our coats etc.

Cherie’s Chalet- Phoenix from the Ashes

As always, a stay a Cherie’s Chalet is one to remember. We used to come stay at her original chalet. It was so special!! We all loved that beautiful deck that looked out onto the mountains and valley. We missed that this time. But, the new chalet is awesome too! Love the colors!! Thank you, Cherie & Leon, for your sweet hospitality!! We count you as our mountain friends. God Bless you both!

Wonderful

Exactly as advertised. This place was perfect. View was beautiful. Cabin was secluded yet close enough to Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and Pigeon Forge. Very well stocked kitchen for cooking in. Plenty of room for our family.Owners and caretakers went above and beyond, and helped us out with some medical equipment. deliveries. Highly recommend! recommend!
