Covered HOT TUB. nGreat well-equipped kitchen. nThis luxury cathedral ceilinged cabin has 3 king bedrooms each with 32" smart TVs w/DVD/VCR players at most and 2 with electric fireplaces for a romantic getaway. n nEnjoy the bedroom accommodations tor check-out the queen sleeper sofa - one in front of the fireplace one futon in the forest wrapped sunroom or the in the second-floor front bedroom. There is also a futon in the loft in addition to the queen bed. Hop in the large hot tub on the covered back deck or enjoy the pool able arcade game table or foosball table in the game room. n nThe kitchen has a 21' refrigerator with great ice maker lots of pots & pans and kitchen gadgets. It is an eat-in kitchen (seats 4) and there is seating for 10 in the large dining room. You will have granite counters in the baths - one with a premier height sink. You will want to come back again and again! nYou will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots some k-cup pods in different flavors creamer pods sugar and sweetener packets also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub hand pump soap at each sink small soap packages paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom dish soap and dishwasher pods. n nThe Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail dog park playground Frisby golf tether ball pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis pickle ball corn hole and basketball with equipment provided.

Little peace of mountain paradise.

I have 2 grown children with a total of 8 grandchildren and all of us 12 total, loved this place. Plenty of space for all. Plan on coming back and booking tbis cabin.

Wonderful Stay

We had great experience in Tennessee. This was our first visit. Cathy gave us really good support to make our visit a remarkable one. We and the kids had lot of fun. Interior facilities of the cabin was really good. Thank you! Hope to visit again

Nice Cabin Not clean

The cabin was in a good spot that was not very far from Pigeon Forge. The cabin also had a nice layout that worked great for an area for the kids to play and sleeping arrangements. However, the cabin was not very clean. It seemed to have just been spot cleaned in a few places for an extended amount of time.

Well equiped with everything we needed. Everyone loved the pool table! Quiet, easy check in process! Slight issue with the water/plumbing, but after reaching out to the owner, it was resolved quickly. Overall, a nice place to stay!

Quick girls trip

Everyone enjoyed their stay. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked well along with coffee pods, some snacks, and bottles of water, and it was very clean. My friends enjoyed the hot tub (I forgot my suit!) both nights we were there. I could have hung out there the entire stay. It was very relaxing and a there was a lot of room to spread out. The road is very steep to get there so that might be something to consider when staying there. Cathy was very easy to communicate with as well.

Enjoyable

My family enjoyed the cabin and it was well located, offering both a true mountain area experience and close enough access to the tourism areas. The cabin was clean. It is older, which was fine for my group. The yard could use some cleanup- but it was the end of fall, so leaves everywhere are expected. The host are gracious and responsive to questions. We would gladly utilize the cabin again for family gatherings.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin and yard area were beautiful. There was a bit of a problem with a toilet that kept running and the upstairs shower was missing a door. However, the cabin was roomy and the game room/hot tub were awesome. To get to the cabin is real tricky with steep hills, hairpin turns and driveway that is difficult to maneuver.

Perfect Cabin!!

My family of 11 had a FANTASTIC time for Thanksgiving! The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed to prepare our meal. The game room kept all the kids entertained for HOURS each day, which allowed the adults free time to hang out too. The road up to the cabin is very steep, which was a little scary to tackle the first time going up. Other than the road up, everything else was perfect. A big THANK YOU to the owners for sharing their cabin!

Beautiful mountain property

Large mountain cabin in a gated community. Enjoyed our weekend family vacation here. Lots of beds and a sunroom with pool table and foosball. Hot tub was very nice. Host was very responsive to questions. Directions to home are a little confusing and they say not to use the GPS, but we compared the written directions to the GPS as we drove and that helped keep us on track. Only negative would be weather in the winter. I would not want to drive the steep mountain streets in the snow or ice.

Great cabin!

overall we had a wonderful stay. The cabin is in a secluded area. recommend an AWD vehicle - it is UP and there are some really sharp turns to get to it. Game room and hot tub were awesome as well. We had two minor complaints. We were not able to use the grill because someone prior had left it extremely dirty and there was nothing on hand to clean it with. And one of our guests who slept in the loft was bitten by bed bugs. We thought it strange that only that area was affected but they were definitely bed bug bites and it was only her so we thought maybe that bed did not get new sheets after the last guests. I advised the owner after we left of both issues and she said she was going to address them. The owner is very responsive.

Smoky Mountain Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Quails Retreat. It very well fit our group of 12 which included four active kids under age 8. The quiet mountainside privacy was very welcome especially compared to the traffic, noise and busyness of Gatlinburg. The game room was a fun area for all but especially great to segregate the kids at times. We looked forward to the outdoor fire pit but all the chairs in that area were literally black with dirt and tree debris. My wife had to bring out a bucket of soapy water to scrub down the table and we had to place towels on the chairs to sit. A major pressure washing is needed. Which brings me to the overall condition of the place - if you're expecting new and pristine this ain't it. Well worn and comfortable better describes it. Cathy would be well served to invest a couple weeks of her $2000 weekly rent into some upgrades - kitchen chairs so wobbly you think they'll collapse - a couple living room chairs that have so little support you think you're going to the floor (one of which I lifted up looking for a toy and found a good 2 years of crumbs and dust underneath). The 3 bathrooms were great to have and we enjoyed the front porch. We'd stay again.
