The hotel is undeniably beautiful, with stunning architectural design and impressive attention to detail. However, the bathrooms had a very unpleasant odour that the hotel was unable to resolve during our stay. The swimming pool area was disappointing old, poorly maintained, and in need of renovation. The service there was also very poor. No inspection, no service and very unfriendly
Breakfast I was served by Elaine, who was absolutely wonderful and attentive, but overall the breakfast quality did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this level. Room service was satisfactory, and the reception team were quick and helpful. The location is decent.generally the hotel was clean

The hotel is in outdated given current standards. For a 5* hotel it was disappointing that the upkeep of the hotel was poor. In addition, we booked a fountain view room but ended up with a room with no view in particular. Perhaps, we should have stuck with Ritz Carlton
